We offer weekly lessons and ensemble rehearsals during term time for musicians of all ages and abilities. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time, beginning to find your voice, or dreaming of performing on stages such as Wembley or the Royal Albert Hall, we have opportunities for everyone.
Our students range in age from 5 to 80, and our ensembles welcome children and young people from 4 to 21. If you would like to find out more, follow the links below or get in touch with us directly.
Learning to play an instrument or develop your singing voice is rewarding, enjoyable and enriching at every stage. Whether you are a complete beginner playing or singing your first notes, or a more experienced performer looking to refine your skills, we offer lessons to support your musical journey. Tuition is available both during the school day in many local schools and in the evenings at the music centre.
Use the links below to find out whether lessons are available in your school or to explore information about our music centre lessons.
Whatever your instrument or voice, Stockport Music Service can provide tuition in schools or at the music centre. Most pupils we teach have lessons in their school, during the school day.
If we don't offer lessons in your school or there is another reason you can't attend during the school day, you might want to consider having lessons at the music centre.
